Meet Our Kennel Staff

  • Chelsea
    Kennel Manager

Chelsea just started working with us here at Six Forks Animal Hospital in September of 2016, she was looking for another kennel job to broaden her knowledge of animals, in hopes to become a Veterinary Technician in the future. Chelsea enjoys her time here, playing with the dogs and snuggling up with the cats. Her favorite dog to play with is Otis, she'll even bring her own dog Layla by for daycare! She also assists the veterinary technicians when needed. Chelsea has been a great asset to our Six Forks Animal Hospital family, and we hope you see her passion as strongly as we do.

  • Colin

Colin joined us in December of 2017 with a love for animals, having previously volunteered at a local barn in Raleigh and at Jackson County Animal Shelter. He graduated from Wake Tech Community College with an Associate of Science Degree and now attends NC State, working towards a Bachelor's in Animal Science. He hopes to go to NC State for veterinary school after he graduates. Colin will often bring his dog, Copper in to play with others at daycare.

  • Katherine

Since she was a child, Katherine has wanted to work with animals. She joined the Six Forks family in August of 2018, while studying Animal Science at NC State. Katherine also hopes to get into Vet School at NC  State. She interned at Burlington Animal Services as a vet assistant, and gained a lot of knowledge. After her time at the shelter she was certain this was the path for her. She is hoping to continue to learn and grow here with us at Six Forks.

  • Katelyn

Katelyn has been a wonderful addition to the Six Forks Family! She is currently majoring in Animal Science at NC State University. Katelyn began working here at Six Forks Animal Hospital in June of 2019. Ever since she can remember she has had a love for animals, before working here she volunteered at horse farms. She feels like she never works a day in her life, because she spends every day doing what she loves.
